New IDH offices open for business

We’re pleased to say that our two new offices are now fully up and running, across two continents, with their first projects already in progress.
IDH Bahrain
Having first opened its doors in July, our Middle Eastern office is located in Bahrain. IDH Bahrain is headed up by our local partner, Hany Ibrahim CEng; a UK- trained specialist in temporary works. From our base, we’ll also be able to service nearby markets Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
Hany brings with him 20 years of industry knowledge and experience and we are extremely excited to see what new opportunities we’ll be able to embrace in the Middle Eastern market. A number of mega projects are already underway as a recent report predicted that the Bahraini construction industry will grow at an average rate of 4.3% over the next four years.
As Hany says, we’re planning to align with the “Vision 2030 plans that Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia have in place, which aim to help create a thriving post-hydrocarbon economy for the region”.
IDH North
Alongside this, our latest UK office is based in Chorley, Lancashire, and opened the month before, in June 2021, and our first projects are in full swing.
Anthony Kenmare is director of IDH North and draws on 27 years’ experience in temporary works, formwork and falsework solutions. His specialism in product development and structural design calculations along with finite element analysis is proving valuable.
As he took up his position, Anthony was particularly looking forward to “being able to extend the professional services offered by IDH to new clients in the north of the country”.
We are extremely excited at the new opportunities for IDH in the coming year and look forward to sharing more news on our expansion, projects and extended service offerings as the year progresses. Watch this space.
